Women's Volleyball League

2007-2008

General Information: Age Division: Adults only league; all players must be at least 18 years of age. Eligibility: Open to anyone provided they meet the age requirement and sign the player agreement form. All teams must obtain and complete a league packet, which includes the registration information, official roster, behavior guidelines and the by-laws. All forms must be completed and returned at one time All players MUST be able to produce positive identification if requested by an official. Registration: Registration will begin in October. Registration will be as a team. Teams will be a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 12. Registrations will be taken at the Park office Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 (office closed noon hour) Objective/Purpose:  The purpose for which this league was organized was to develop and operate an adult volleyball league governed by the Department of Parks and Recreation. The league will operate in conformity with and pursuant to the principles, rules, and regulations of the governing body. In conjunction with the purpose to develop sportsmanship and promote good will among teams and individuals participating. It is not meant to be, and will not become, an intensely competitive program in which participants place the importance of winning ahead of sportsmanship and fun. High School Rules shall govern all procedures in this league except when there is a conflict with the special adopted provisions set forth.
