Baseball/Softball
Sign ups for the 2008 season will be March 18, 2008. Pre-season practice will begin the second week of April with league games starting in May. The age division for all participants will be determined by their age on April 30, 2008. The season will end around the first week of July. Fees range from $25-$50. Below is a breakdown of the leagues.
Instructional League (coed 5-6 year olds)
Rookie League(7-8 boys pitching machine)
American League(7-8-9 girls pitching machine)
Minor League (9-10 boys live pitch)
Major League(11-13 boys live pitch)
National League(10-11-12 girls fast pitch)
Sr. Girls (13-17 girls fast
pitch)
Boys age 14-18 if you are interested in playing summer ball please contact the Park office 573-624-8244 there is a possibility of a private competitive league organizing this summer. Dexter Parks and Recreation will not offer a program for this age group due to the lack of interest.
